The fine print
Privacy & Cookies
Short version: we measure our Facebook and Instagram ads, we keep booking requests so we can reply, we email our mailing list only with band news, and we never sell anything about you.
Ads measurement: the Meta Pixel
This site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It uses cookies and similar technology to tell Meta that someone visited a page here, so we can see whether our show and video ads are working and show those ads to people who might be interested. Meta may combine this with other information it has about you underMeta's Privacy Policy.
To control this, use yourMeta ad preferences, opt out of interest-based ads atoptout.aboutads.info, or block third-party cookies in your browser. The site works the same either way.
The pixel doesn't run on our private press-kit pages.
Booking requests
When you send a booking request, we store what you type (name, email, phone, event date, venue, city, event type, and message) plus the country your request came from, and email a copy to the band member who handles bookings. We don't store your IP address. We use it only to reply to you and plan the show, and we keep it as long as it's useful for that. To have yours deleted, emailbooking@themoodkings.com.
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you're a person and not a spam bot. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Mailing list and show alerts
Our mailing-list signup form and the Show Alerts button are provided by Bandsintown. The form loads from Bandsintown inside our page. What you enter there (your email address, plus your name and location if you add them) goes to Bandsintown and to us. Bandsintown asks you to confirm your email address before you're added, and may set its own cookies inside the form.
We use the list only to send you show dates and news from the band. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or email us and we'll remove you. SeeBandsintown's privacy policyfor how they handle your information.
Videos and show listings
Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode: YouTube doesn't set cookies until you press play. Show dates come from Bandsintown; links to Bandsintown take you to their site and theirprivacy policy.
